Mental Disorders and Peak Reward Prediction Error Memories (Peak RPEMs):

      Main focus of research includes:

  • Positive Valence Systems and Psychopathology,
  • Episodic Memories of Aberrant Salient Reward Experiences,
  • Incentive Salience and Associative Learning,
  • Reward Prediction Error Dependent Memory Encoding,
  • Predictive Processing and Maladaptive Plasticity,
  • Associative Connections between Peak RPEMs and Cardinal Symptoms and Mental Imageries in Clinical Setting

Ongoing Research Projects:

  1. Psychopathology and Peak Reward Prediction Error Memories (Peak RPEMs):

Analysis of associative and contextual connection between symptoms of psychosis

(delusions and hallucinations) and episodic memories of aberrant salient

reward experiences.

  1. Suicidal Thoughts and Behaviors and Peak RPEMs.

Examination of associative and contextual connections between mental imageries

of suicidal thoughts and behavior (STB) and episodic memories of aberrant salient

reward experiences.

mental imageries of harm obsessions and episodic memories of aberrant
